What You’ll Do
- Assist in complex cardiac surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomies/lung resections
- Support surgeons in OR procedures and assist with vein harvests and chest tube placements
- Conduct inpatient bedside rounds and monitor patient telemetry and ICU duties
- Participate in emergency call rotations, including 1-2 days weekly and one weekend per month
- Contribute to patient care during inpatient and surgical procedures
- Ensure compliance with all hospital and surgical standards
What You Need
Required:- Valid Kentucky state license
- Ability to perform surgical procedures and assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
- Prior experience in ICU and telemetry settings
Preferred:- Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, lung resection
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
