Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients with exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and daily functioning.
  • Document treatments and patient progress accurately.
  • Follow facility safety, infection-control, and patient-care procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Active PTA license in California.
  • Relevant PTA experience preferred.
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule.
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills.
