Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $62-68 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

·       Number of Beds: 15 beds

·       Patient Ratios: 4:1

·       Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 1-2 LNA support

·       Type of equipment: GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres

·       Documentation system: Meditech Expanse

·       Scheduling requirements: 12 shifts month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts Month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO

·       Floating policy: Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first

·       Patient Experience requirements: MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift

Hospital Specifics-

·       Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH

Must have 1 year of recent PCU experience, be available every other weekend and have a state or compact RN license. Per diem positions are available as well. Please reach out if interested!
