Job Summary: The ER Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and approved organizational standards. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures safe, efficient, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing assignments, conducting purposeful hourly rounding, implementing quality improvement strategies, and contributing to professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience (adults and/or pediatrics)
• 1 year of travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Trauma experience is a plus

• Certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, CEN
• BSN degree
• PALS certification
• NIHSS Certification
