Local Contract Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum RN - $65 per hour

Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Mother-Baby/Couplet Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse, Specialty in Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post-Partum - **Shift:** Night shifts (3x12-Hour, 19:00 - 07:00) - **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care to postpartum patients who do not require ICU-level care - Support patients with high-risk factors and antepartum conditions - Monitor and care for newborns who do not need NICU-level care, with a focus on: - Late preterm infants - Substance-exposed newborns - Newborns requiring phototherapy - Administer and manage medications including magnesium drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, as well as PCA & PCEA pumps - Offer breastfeeding support to postpartum patients - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience required - No first-time travelers - **Certification Requirements:** - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - **Licensure:** - Valid RN License in the state or compact - **Patient Ratios:** - Typical ratios: 1:3 couplets or up to 6 patients - **Unit Details:** - 32 beds dedicated to postpartum and antepartum patients - **Charting:** - Utilizing Epic for efficient documentation - **Team Collaboration:** - Participation in on-call duties as needed - Weekend requirements per unit needs - Floating to Labor & Delivery with fetal monitoring experience **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
