**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Oncology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - **Shifts:** Rotating shifts; various days of the week - **Experience Required:** 2 years of acute care - **First-timers Accepted:** Yes, teaching hospital experience required for first travel assignment - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes, based on unit needs - **Certifications Required:** - AHA BLS - CO or Compact RN license - **On-call Requirement:** No - **Floating:** Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential to float to sister facilities - **Total Staffed Beds:** 36 - **Charting System:** Epic - **Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:** Typically 1:6; may flex based on staffing needs - **Scrub Color:** Navy - **Special Requirements:** - Teaching hospital experience is essential - Experience in a surgical oncology unit - Focus on abdominal and pelvic oncology (Gynecologic, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Care for post-op patients aimed at achieving specific milestones for discharge - Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is NOT administered in this unit; no chemo certification required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
