About the Position
Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for dedicated store deliveries throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. This role offers home-daily routes, automatic day cab equipment, and no-touch freight.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $0.58 per mile
- Mileage and stop pay
- 40 hours per week
- 10–11-hour shifts
- Midnight start time
- Thursday and Friday off
- Home daily
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Delivery area: Stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, including Wilmington, Charleston, and Raleigh
- Freight: No-touch freight
- Handling: Mostly drop and hook, with occasional live unloads
- Equipment: Automatic Freightliner and Volvo day cab trucks
- Employment type: Dedicated
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an automatic day cab truck on local delivery routes
- Deliver freight to stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina
- Complete drop-and-hook operations and occasional live unloads
- Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and delivery procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
