About the Position

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for store deliveries throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. This dedicated opportunity offers home-daily routes, no-touch freight, and consistent support from the TransForce team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $0.58 per mile
• Additional mileage and stop pay
• Home daily
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• 10- to 11-hour shifts
• Dispatch time: 1:00 a.m.
• Weekend and part-time opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Delivery area: Stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, including Wilmington, Charleston, and Raleigh
• Freight: No-touch freight
• Handling: Primarily drop-and-hook with occasional live unloads
• Equipment: Automatic day cab trucks, including Freightliner and Volvo models
• Employment type: Dedicated

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A truck on local delivery routes
• Deliver freight to stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and occasional live unloads
• Operate automatic day cab equipment
• Follow all applicable transportation laws and safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
