Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established law firm to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant/Litigation Secretary to provide comprehensive support to attorneys and legal staff. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment across a variety of practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare correspondence and legal documents.
  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, and deadlines.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Assist with document formatting, including legal citations and redlining.
  • Support time entry and general office functions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related legal administrative experience (certifications such as ALS, PLS, CPS, or paralegal certificate may substitute).
  • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and court filing requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Word formatting (styles and tables).
  • Experience with time entry systems and document comparison/redlining tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
