Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support attorneys handling high‑end, complex litigation. Key Responsibilities
Draft, revise, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and presentations
Recent California state and federal litigation experience
Prepare TOCs/TOAs using CCC Macros / Best Authority
File documents in state, federal, and administrative courts (including e‑filing)
Arrange service of pleadings and subpoenas
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel, and shared office schedules
Organize case files, prepare binders, and coordinate with Records
Track deadlines, projects, and incoming mail
Enter attorney time, assist with billing, and prepare expense reports
Proofread documents and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
Provide backup support to other assistants as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Recent California state and federal litigation experience required
Appellate experience preferred
Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures
Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
