A well-established boutique litigation firm in the Sandy Springs area is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This is a fully onsite position supporting attorneys handling sophisticated catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys substantive litigation work and wants to focus on a smaller caseload of significant, high-value cases rather than managing a high-volume docket. The role will include some legal administrative responsibilities, but the primary focus is hands-on paralegal and litigation support.
What You’ll Do
- Assist attorneys with all phases of catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation from case development through trial
- Manage case files, deadlines, discovery, and litigation calendars
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
- Coordinate and summarize medical records, records requests, and other case-related documentation
- Assist with deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties as needed
- Organize and maintain exhibits, evidence, and case materials
- Perform legal research and investigative support as needed
- Provide general legal administrative support to attorneys, including occasional scheduling, correspondence, and document management
What We’re Looking For
- Prior litigation paralegal experience required; experience with personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, or complex civil litigation strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of the litigation process, discovery, court filings, and case management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and details across complex matters
- Comfortable working closely with attorneys in a smaller, team-oriented firm environment
- Professional, dependable, and able to take ownership of assigned matters
