JOB DESCRIPTION
Experience with Construction is preferred, must have litigation experience. Will also consider insurance defense experience.
Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in a Construction Practice Group. This role involves managing complex construction‑related cases, including defect, delay, contract, and general liability matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with case management from intake through trial preparation
- Draft and prepare discovery, subpoenas, summaries, and litigation support documents
- Organize and review construction project records and discovery materials
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, site inspections, and expert communications
- Prepare exhibits, timelines, and trial materials
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, and organized case files
- E-filing legal documents in state and federal court
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience; construction or insurance defense preferred
- Paralegal Certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong writing, organization, and case‑management skills
- Experience with e‑filing and document review platforms
- Ability to work independently in a high volume, fast‑paced environment
