Are you a dynamic, experienced Litigation Attorney with a passion for real property and creditor rights? We are seeking an exceptional attorney with a strong background in real estate, unlawful detainer, and bankruptcy to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging legal matters in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in all stages of real property disputes and creditor rights litigation, including trial, arbitration, mediation, and appellate proceedings.
2. Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting research on complex legal issues related to real estate, unlawful detainer, and bankruptcy law.
4. Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to real property and creditor rights.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in real property disputes and creditor rights matters.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the effective and efficient handling of legal matters.
7. Keeping abreast of changes in real estate, unlawful detainer, and bankruptcy law and advising clients accordingly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on real estate, unlawful detainer, and bankruptcy law.
4. Strong knowledge of real property and creditor rights law, including the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
5. Excellent litigation skills, including experience in trial, arbitration, mediation, and appellate proceedings.
6. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, other attorneys, and legal support staff.
9. Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. High degree of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
11. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
