    Litigation Attorney ($160k-200k+) Salary

    Location: Houston, TX

    About the Opportunity:
    We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to join our established litigation practice. The position involves a diverse mix of business, real estate, and employment litigation, with some potential exposure to general corporate matters. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.

    • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs with strong attention to detail.

    • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.

    • Take and defend depositions.

    • Participate in hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.

    • Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide mentorship to junior team members when appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • J.D. from an accredited law school.

    • Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing.

    • 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a strong knowledge of Texas state law and court procedures.

    • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.

    • Prior experience conducting depositions and trial participation preferred.

    • Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.

    • Must be based in Houston, TX (in-office)

    • Candidates outside Texas or without Texas state court experience will not be considered.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive salary starting at $160,000-$200k+, commensurate with experience (depending on experience)
