Litigation Attorney Opportunity
A highly respected and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its established team in Houston. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned legal professional ready to step into a high-impact role handling sophisticatedmatters while contributing to the continued growth of a thriving practice. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of litigation experience, strong courtroom presence, and a proven ability to independently manage complex cases from inception through resolution. Experience in first-party property insurance litigation is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload from intake through settlement, trial, or resolution
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
Analyze insurance policies, claims files, correspondence, and supporting documentation
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal filings
Conduct legal research and develop strategic case approaches
Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel and carriers
Provide clear legal guidance and exceptional client service
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Support business development efforts and cultivate new client relationships
Strong negotiation, trial, and case management skills
Demonstrated ability to generate business and build client relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
