Litigation Associate Attorney

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of experience to join a growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a California attorney looking to develop their litigation practice while working alongside experienced attorneys on a variety of matters.

The Opportunity

• Assist with civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Work closely with experienced attorneys on case strategy and client matters
• Take increasing responsibility for assigned matters as experience develops
• Build strong litigation skills while working on meaningful client matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership
• 1–4 years of litigation experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Motivated to build a long-term career in litigation

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000–$160,000 base salary
• 1,800 annual billable hour expectation
