Job Details
We are seeking an attorney with several years of litigation experience to join our growing practice. In this role, we will rely on you to take ownership of matters, work closely with clients, and contribute to all stages of the litigation process. We are looking for someone who is confident handling responsibilities independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues across a variety of legal matters.
This position offers the opportunity to build courtroom experience, strengthen client relationships, and develop professionally in an environment that emphasizes mentorship, practical training, and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
Handle written discovery, document review, and case analysis
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses
Support trial preparation and assist with courtroom proceedings when required
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex legal issues
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements
Qualifications
Several years of litigation experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment
Experience practicing in both state and federal courts preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities
Strong organizational and case management skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Sound professional judgment and attention to detail
Interest in long-term professional development and increasing responsibility
Requirements
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New Hampshire or ability to waive in
Ability to obtain admission in the jurisdiction where matters are handled, if required
Strong academic and professional credentials
Demonstrated experience handling litigation matters with increasing levels of responsibility
Ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative settings
