    Overview

    Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. An operated retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We offer 23 retail locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with a delivery radius reaching 80% of Kentucky residents.

    As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in providing excellent customer service while driving sales through BRS products. Assists in daily operations, including the motivation of the team to achieve store goals. Provide a strong leadership presence while enforcing all company policies and procedures, safety, and security.

    Responsibilities

    Includes, but are not limited to:

    Provide high levels of customer service, driving sales, handling difficult situations, demonstrating organizational skills, multi-tasking

    Inventory control

    Assist in reviewing orders

    Collaborate with corporate, vendors, and buyer team

    Interview, hire, conduct employee orientations, training, and development

    Coach and guide to improving customer experience to store employees

    Expert knowledge of BRS products to provide customers with recommendations

    Communicate with General Manager for business and store team needs

    Provides support and feedback for overall performance on the store and employees

    Assist in the hiring process, conduct screen interviews, and recruit

    Ensures that all company standards are followed

    Assist the General Manager in planning, prioritizing and adjusting schedules to drive sales while following payroll expectations

    Executes all marketing, promotions, and events promptly

    Ensures all pricing, signage, and display information is correct

    Perform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactions

    Maintain store safety standards

    Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, bathroom

    Maintain all safety standards for deliveries

    Participate in product education classes and training

    Qualifications

    21 years of age or older

    3 years of retail management experience

    Ability to work full-time employment as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)

    Demonstrates strong comprehension, written, and oral communication skills.

    Possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to customers and team

    Possesses strong organizational and time management skills

    Ability to multi-task

    Ability to count cash and make change accurately

    Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of products and services

    Prior experience in a team environment requiring professional and practical communication skills

    Ability to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    This job requires the ability to perform the following:

    Frequently standing and moving

    Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds

    Handling objects, products, and equipment safely

    Bending, kneeling
