Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in Virginia Beach. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is visually appealing
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
