We’re hiring experienced line cooks to join our high-volume coastal restaurant in La Jolla, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with ocean views. This is a fast-paced but well-organized kitchen with a strong team and a focus on quality execution.
Pay & Schedule:
$21-25/hr + tip pool
Part-time with up to 5 shifts per week
Consistent schedules (AM and PM shifts available)
Weekends required
Available Shifts:
AM: 6:00am–2:30pm
PM: 2:00pm–10:30pm
Set days off: Monday & Tuesday
What You’ll Do:
Execute hot or cold line dishes with consistency and attention to detail
Work clean, organized, and efficiently during high-volume service
Maintain proper food safety, prep, and station organization
Communicate clearly with team and expeditor during service
What We’re Looking For:
1–3 years of line experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking fundamentals
Ability to stay focused and composed under pressure
