Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items for daily service, including meats, vegetables, cheeses, sauces, and other ingredients.
  

• Slice meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other products according to restaurant standards.
  

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold subs accurately and efficiently.
  

• Operate the grill, fryer, slicer, and other kitchen equipment safely and properly.
  

• Cook meats, fries, and other menu items according to Jon Smith Subs standards.
  

• Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional service.
  

• Assist customers with menu questions and ensure orders are prepared correctly.
  

• Package dine-in and takeout orders.
  

• Restock ingredients, beverages, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations, kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and restrooms.
  

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures at all times.
  

• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
  

• Work together with other team members to keep service running quickly and efficiently.
  

• Perform other restaurant duties as needed.

Schedule: May include weekdays, evenings, and weekends depending on restaurant needs.
