Job Description
Milano Restaurant & Bar is seeking an experienced, dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are an authentic Italian restaurant committed to quality ingredients, consistent execution, and excellent food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Work efficiently during busy dinner service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation, inventory rotation, and kitchen closing duties.
- Communicate effectively with the chef and kitchen team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook in a professional restaurant kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Italian cuisine experience is a plus.
