Join our culinary team as a Cook in our Independent Living community! In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality meals in a restaurant-style dining environment while creating an exceptional dining experience for our residents. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, takes pride in presentation, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Previous cooking experience in hospitality, senior living, country club, or restaurant environments is preferred.
Pay: $19-$25 per hour (based on experience)
Daily Responsibilities of a Cook:
Prepare and serve high-quality meals in a restaurant-style dining environment
Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served according to community standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while following all sanitation and food safety guidelines
Demonstrate strong cooking skills, efficiency, and attention to detail in food preparation and production
Collaborate with team members to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents
Promote a warm, welcoming atmosphere through outstanding customer service and hospitality
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Culinary degree preferred
Minimum of one year of restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience required
