Line Cook

We are coming up on our busy/events season and are looking to add a member to our team. We're a small neighborhood bar in Uptown Dallas with a simple and focused menu, clean and well organized kitchen, and a great staff. We offer competitive pay and a 45 hour per week schedule. No late nights or brunch shifts, consistent schedule with 2 consecutive days off every week.

-Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen preferred

-Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment

-Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating standards

-Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

-Excellent teamwork and communication skills

-Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service periods

-Strong attention to detail and consistency

-Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation

-Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry kitchen supplies as needed

-Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen leadership

-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

-Food Handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain one

-Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
