About the Role:
Fin & Crab in Charleston, SC is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen crew! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in putting out great food, come be part of a team that's serious about quality and loves what they do.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and plating standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout service
• Operate and manage assigned station (sauté, grill, fry, prep, etc.) during service
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage following food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution
• Assist with prep work, mise en place, and opening/closing duties
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen setting preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required
