Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to Moxy standards—clean, fast, and delicious
Keep the kitchen area spotless, organized, and ready to rock
Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and health & safety protocols (we play clean)
Work the line during busy periods—breakfast rush, happy hour, or a full-on weekend scene
Help receive deliveries and rotate stock like a boss
Communicate with the Crew to keep everything running smooth and vibey
Bring creativity and ideas—Moxy loves fresh takes and bold flavors
Qualifications
Passionate about food and the kitchen hustle
Cool under pressure and quick on the line
A team player who knows how to handle the heat (literally)
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and organized
Comfortable with flexible schedules (weekends, holidays, and mornings are part of the fun)
Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook
Familiarity with modern, grab-and-go or casual dining concepts
Food handler certification (or willing to get one)
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear.
Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to stand during the entire 8 hour shift.
