Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow food safety and handling procedures (rotation, dating, labeling).
  • Prepare grill and prep items efficiently.
  • Cook food to specified times for safe consumption.
  • Use proper knife handling.
  • Ensure food quality; report substandard products.
  • Prepare ingredients (portioning, chopping, storing).
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation (wash/disinfect areas, tools, equipment).
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Assist with rotisserie station as needed.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years high-volume kitchen experience.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Effective time management.
  • Must Have Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work near heated equipment.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift objects as needed
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
