Job Description:
Serves as primary communication liaison between clients, family members, managed care representatives, and behavioral healthcare personnel.
Assures the continuity of patient care upon completion of the assessment by assisting in the implementation of the referral recommendation.
Provides therapeutic and educational services to patients, family, staff, and community.
Appropriately assesses suicide, violence, and elopement potential.
Facilitates appropriate milieu management within the emergency departments and medical units.
