Legal Secretary

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (4 Days In Office, 1 Day Remote)

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

A respected California law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide litigation and administrative support to multiple attorneys. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys managing competing priorities while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys

  • Manage legal files, document production, and document management systems

  • Handle e-filing in administrative, state, and federal courts

  • Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents and correspondence

  • Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court dates

  • Monitor and manage litigation deadlines using calendaring systems

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reimbursements

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, and staff

  • Assist with workflow management and case organization

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all matters

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of litigation legal secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys

  • Extensive experience with state and federal court e-filing required

  • Strong calendaring and deadline management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with document management systems, including iManage or similar platforms

  • Experience with Juralaw and/or Coyote timekeeping required

  • Excellent written, verbal, proofreading, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and anticipate attorney needs

  • Knowledge of administrative hearings and transactional law is a plus
