Top 25 global law firm is seeking a Recruiting Assistant Manager to lead and coordinate legal recruiting efforts for their Denver office while also contributing to firmwide lateral attorney hiring initiatives. This role combines hands-on recruiting execution with strategic collaboration across offices, practice groups, and leadership.
Based in Denver, this position plays a critical role in managing local associate recruiting programs, supporting professional development and recruiting-related events, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and new hires. The role also has a national footprint, partnering with practice group leadership, search firms, and recruiting colleagues to support lateral attorney hiring across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Denver Office Recruiting
Lead and manage all Denver-based legal recruiting efforts, including summer associate, entry-level, and lateral associate hiring
Serve as a core member of the Denver recruiting leadership team, partnering with Hiring Partners and firm leadership
Plan and support the summer associate program, including budgeting, event calendars, and execution in collaboration with summer coordinators and hiring partners
Coordinate and attend key recruiting and onboarding events such as:
Summer program orientation and signature events
Candidate visits and in‑person interviews
New associate welcome and integration events
Partner with local teams to support office events tied to recruiting, professional development, alumni engagement, and client development
Collaborate with Law Student Outreach and local leadership to forecast junior‑level hiring needs and proactively source candidates interested in the Denver market
Lateral Attorney Recruiting (Firmwide)
Support national and regional lateral associate searches, partnering with practice group leadership to assess needs and identify talent
Provide dedicated recruiting support for assigned practice groups, including:
Candidate outreach and communication
Interview scheduling and coordination
Feedback collection and candidate tracking in the applicant tracking system
Practice group hiring discussions and integration planning
Manage and grow practice‑specific recruiting initiatives, including the IP Fellowship summer associate program
Work closely with Professional Development and practice management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term integration of lateral hires
Additional Initiatives
Collaborate with the Washington, D.C. Recruiting Director and stakeholders on Supreme Court clerk recruiting
Coordinate onboarding processes, including conflicts clearance, reference checks, and background verifications
Manage relationships with search firms and ensure compliance with firm recruiting processes
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
Minimum of 4 years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm setting, preferably supporting multiple offices.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation and Benefits
The annual compensation range for this position is $100,000-$120,000, depending on qualifications and business considerations.
