Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Legal Assistant for a respected civil litigation law firm. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Seattle, Washington, with two in-office days per week following an onsite training period.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a collaborative team of civil litigation attorneys. This role offers the opportunity to support complex litigation matters from inception through trial while working in a collegial, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced law firm setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, proofread, revise, and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents in Washington state and federal courts
Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and monitor litigation deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors while providing exceptional administrative support
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, document productions, exhibits, and trial binders throughout the litigation lifecycle
Assist with trial preparation, including coordinating witnesses, exhibits, logistics, and other litigation support activities
Provide general administrative support, including attorney time entry, billing assistance, mail processing, and special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of legal assistant experience supporting civil litigation attorneys
Experience with Washington state and federal court procedures, calendaring, and electronic filing
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document and case management systems is preferred
Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Professional, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
