About the Role
The client is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to multiple attorneys. This is a true support-focused role, ideal for someone who is strong in organization, document preparation, billing, calendar management, and court filing procedures.
This position is responsible for preparing and transcribing legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and briefs, as well as proofreading and editing documents for accuracy. The Legal Assistant will also manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings and travel, handle time entry and billing edits, maintain files, support e-filing processes, and provide general administrative support as needed.
The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires someone who can communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and internal staff while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Workweek: 35 hours
Compensation: $33–$36/hour
Occasional overtime may be required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
Experience in a law firm environment, preferably mid-size or larger
Experience supporting multiple attorneys (3+)
Strong skills in:
Calendar management
Billing and time entry
Document formatting
Client communication
Pennsylvania e-filing experience is required
New Jersey e-filing experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with document styles and comparison software
Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage confidential information with discretion
