Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Level Legal Assistant II to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will provide essential support needed with day-to-day administrative tasks and legal processe
Responsibilities:
Medical records requests, including retrieval, verification, release authorization, uploading, and secure transmission.
Schedule conference calls and appointments with doctor’s and clients.
Maintain strict confidentiality while complying with HIPAA and state regulations.
Communicate with vendors to fulfill records request
File and organize legal documents; manage and update case files.
Provides information to claims professionals and insureds
Answer calls, respond to emails and forward correspondences.
Data management utilizing legal software platform and workers’ compensation sites.
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, and mail
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
1-2 years of Legal assistant experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous office or administrative experience is a plus but not required
