    Description

    Amazon"s Devices Legal Team is looking for a legal assistant to support our dynamic team, which provides legal support for Amazon"s family of devices and related services, including Kindle, Fire tablet, eero, Ring, and more. The legal assistant will provide administrative support to one or more senior legal directors, as well as day-to-day assistance to attorneys, contracts managers, and business leaders. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects proactively and with limited guidance; react with appropriate urgency and efficiency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; and think creatively in solving problems. The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail and organization skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information is essential.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Managing complex calendaring and scheduling requirements for legal directors and the broader team
    • Overseeing budgeting, expense reporting, and travel coordination
    • Proactively coordinating with leadership to plan and organize events, off-sites, all-team meetings, and meeting agendas
    • Drive team activities (including staff meeting agendas and notes, team meetings, off-sites, supply ordering, and other key logistics)
    • Creating and maintaining internal legal and business-facing standard operating procedures and other resources
    • Coordinating contract approvals, non-disclosure agreements, signature routing, contract searches, organization and filings
    • Acting as a liaison between attorneys, managers and direct reports, and cross-functional partners
    • Space planning and team logistics coordination
    • Management of special projects as needed
    • Effectively using and managing all software, systems, and tools used by the Legal Department including AI tools; teaching team members and business users how to effectively use tools
    • Acting as a primary resource or "go to" for the team
