    LEGAL ADMINISRATIVE ASSISTANT - RALEIGH, NC - HEALTHCARE SECTION

    About the Role:

    The Legal Administrative Assistant in the healthcare section based in Raleigh, NC, plays a critical role in supporting legal professionals by managing administrative tasks that ensure smooth and efficient legal operations. This position involves coordinating communication between healthcare providers, legal teams, and external parties to facilitate case management and compliance with healthcare regulations. The assistant will be responsible for organizing and maintaining legal documents, scheduling appointments, and preparing correspondence, which directly contributes to the accuracy and timeliness of legal processes.     Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a legal administrative role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management software.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    • Knowledge of electronic case management systems and legal billing software (Aderant/iTimekeep).
    • Experience with court filing procedures and regulatory compliance documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and organize legal documents, including case files, contracts, and correspondence related to healthcare law matters.
    • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications between attorneys, clients, and external agencies.
    • Prepare and proofread legal documents, reports, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
    • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and regulatory bodies, adhering to deadlines and procedural requirements.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy laws such as HIPAA.
    • Support billing and invoicing processes related to legal services and track case-related expenses.
    • Utilize legal management software and databases to update case statuses and manage document workflows.(iManage/Filesite)
    • Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing mail, and ordering office supplies.
