Reputable large plaintiff litigation law firm is seeking an administrative assistant that provides administrative and legal support to attorneys, ensuring high-quality, timely, and confidential client service. This role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Prepare and electronically file court documents
Respond promptly to attorney requests via various communication methods
Manage document organization, scheduling, and coordination of firm resources
Support attorneys in using technology to improve efficiency and work quality
Handle work handoffs with clear instructions to maintain accuracy
Balance shifting priorities across multiple offices
Perform additional assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
At least 1 year of general office or law firm experience (legal or professional services preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems
Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Top Requirements
Minimum 1 year of law firm experience (high-volume preferred)
