The organization offers a collaborative culture, technical excellence, and strong opportunities for career growth and leadership development.Job DescriptionTechnical LeadershipLead the engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV+.Provide technical oversight for routing, structure selection, conductor selection, foundation design coordination, and line optimization.Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.Ensure compliance with NESC, ASCE, IEEE, utility standards, and industry best practices.Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of engineering work products.Project ManagementManage multiple transmission line projects simultaneously.Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, subcontractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams.Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve technical and project-related issues.Support project risk assessments and mitigation strategies.Team LeadershipMentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.Provide technical guidance and professional development support.Lead design reviews and project meetings.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Client Relations & Business DevelopmentServe as a primary technical point of contact for clients.Support proposal development, scope definition, fee estimates, and project pursuits.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Identify opportunities for additional services and business growth.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
