Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (GenAI & Microservices) for their Irving¸ TXlocation.
Responsibilities:
- This role will lead the design, development, and adoption of GenAI-powered engineering solutions while partnering closely with business and technology teams.
- Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered solutions
- Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices
- Integrate AI tools into enterprise SDLC and CI/CD workflows
- Drive GenAI adoption, onboarding, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity
- Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Requirements:
- We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java microservices and Generative AI technologies to support a new strategic initiative at Wells Fargo.
- 16+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices
- Full-stack development experience using Java, React/Angular, TypeScript, and Python
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud platform experience (OCP, GCP, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including:
- Devin
- Claude (Anthropic)
- Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools
- Knowledge of:
- Prompt engineering
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- Agent-based and multi-agent architectures
- MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Autonomous AI workflows and orchestration
- Top Skills
