Your impact

Prepare and evaluate technical bid specifications for process and clean utility equipment; calculate loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design; calculate heat loads of process, prepare process mass balance, prepare process and clean utility mapping; develop Process Flow Diagrams and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams based on PFDs; perform hydraulic calculations to size pipe lines and equipment; perform bottom up studies of utility, drain, and CIP systems to size equipment; support development of equipment datasheets to procure equipment; write concise technical reports; coordinate directly with clients/owners on weekly basis; lead team of process engineers; develop budget, schedule and list of deliverables while assigning roles and responsibilities; coordinate with other engineering disciplines, including PM, Mechanical, I&C, Architecture, Project Controls, to maintain design alignment; and mentor process engineers within the organization.

Here's what you'll need

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineer-related occupation.

Experience must include:

• Material balance calculations for processes including Schedule Pro, and Process Mapping Calculation;
• Process clean and dirty utility calculations for processes using Super Pro or Heat and Mass Balance;
• Hydraulics calculation for pumps and piping such as Pipeflo or Fathom;
• Pressure safety device calculations for process equipment and piping;
• Preparation of equipment and instrument datasheets;
• Master Planning, Feasibility, Concept, Basic, Detailed Design and Construction Support of Monoclonal Anti-bodies, Drug Product, Bioprocess/Synthetic API, Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products and Food Manufacturing and Consumer Goods sites;
• Schedule project activities;
• Conduct quality audit for project deliverables; and
• Leading teams of process engineers.

Posted Salary Range: Upper

193,600.00

The base salary range for this position is $152,807.00 to $193,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
