The Lead Estimator will focus on multifamily and commercial projects, managing budgets from initial planning through final pricing and coordinating with clients, design teams, trade partners, and construction personnel.

Job Details

5–7 years of experience preparing construction estimates and project budgets.

5–7 years of experience completing material quantity takeoffs.

High school diploma.

Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and supporting documents.

Experience managing conceptual pricing, negotiated estimates, and competitive bids.

Experience defining trade scopes, obtaining subcontractor proposals, and comparing pricing.

Ability to identify scope omissions, cost risks, and construction challenges.

Knowledge of historical costs, unit pricing, and value engineering.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and construction estimating software.

Ability to document estimate assumptions, allowances, exclusions, and pricing alternatives.

Experience coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and operations teams.

Ability to manage concurrent estimating deadlines and communicate budget information clearly.

Availability for site reviews and coordination during project handoffs and subcontractor buyout.
