Lead Data Scientist

A health-care employer in Houston, TX is seeking a mid-level Lead Data Scientist to join its analytics function. This is an on-site position serving a defined geographic area, with up to 20% travel required. Some visa sponsorships are supported; relocation assistance is not available.

The role. The Lead Data Scientist will examine complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for a range of stakeholders. A significant part of the role involves communicating those insights through presentations delivered directly to A-level through C-level leadership, requiring both analytical rigor and polished communication. The position operates without relocation support, so candidates should be locally based or prepared to establish a presence in the Houston area.

Compensation. $143,000 - $180,000 per year
