Description

Lead Clinician – Day Treatment ServicesMiracle Houses, Inc. is seeking an experienced, compassionate Lead Clinician to join our Day Treatment Services team. This is a full-time, master's-level clinical leadership position serving children and adolescents with significant emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and day-to-day direction for Day Treatment staff.Deliver and oversee individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions.Develop structured therapeutic programming, psychoeducation, and skill-building activities.Complete and review clinical assessments, person-centered plans, progress/service notes, incident reports, and discharge documentation.Facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and coordinate with guardians, schools, care managers, DSS, medical providers, and other community partners.Monitor treatment progress, service authorizations, attendance, utilization, and documentation compliance.Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning when needed.Support admissions, intake, eligibility determination, transition planning, and discharge planning.Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready clinical records.Coach and support staff in clinical documentation, trauma-informed care, ethics, confidentiality, and treatment delivery.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related human services field.Must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) requirements within the mental health/SUD/IDD system.Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral or mental health needs.Experience in Day Treatment, residential, school-based, intensive outpatient, or another structured therapeutic setting is strongly preferred.Valid North Carolina driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.Must successfully complete required background checks, healthcare registry check, drug screening, and reference verification.Current or ability to obtain First Aid/CPR and approved crisis intervention/de-escalation certification.Preferred QualificationsClinical licensure or associate-level licensure is preferred, including LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, or LPA, and/or eligibility for credentialing.Schedule & Work SettingThis is a full-time, exempt position primarily working within the Day Treatment setting, with potential work in schools, community settings, and secure virtual platforms. Some travel and evening availability may be required for family sessions, CFT meetings, and program activities.Compensation & BenefitsSalary is commensurate with education, licensure, and experience.
