These companies house state of the art equipment to ensure the freshness and quality of our products, the safety and maintenance of our facilities, and the safe and efficient delivery of product to our customers. The critical equipment we utilize throughout our operating companies is supported by our Fleet, Material Handling Equipment and Facilities Maintenance teams.
MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT (MHE)
Our Material Handling Equipment team keeps us moving and is vital to our business. This team is responsible for the critical maintenance activities associated with the safe and efficient operation of Sysco's Material Handling Equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

FACILITY
Our Facility team works to ensure that industrial refrigeration and building maintenance are supported. On this team, you'll be responsible for the maintenance of a variety of equipment such as automatic storage and retrieval system, docks, electrical devices, and more!

FLEET MAINTENANCE
Our Fleet Maintenance team ensures that our delivery vehicles are well maintained. You will work in-house with company-owned equipment, and be responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and cost efficiencies of Sysco vehicles. Maintenance positions also conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, providing an expert diagnosis to improve total fleet reliability.

A CLEAR PATH TO YOUR CAREER, WITH SET TECHNICIAN LEVELS
TECHNICIAN 1 The first technician level is for those who are just emerging into the field. No experience is required, but a high school diploma is necessary. Some of the various teams prefer 1-2 years of experience, but this is not a requirement.
TECHNICIAN 2 For this position, you will also need a high school diploma, and a few years in the field as well. This role requires some formal training and certifications based on the department.
TECHNICIAN 3 This tech position requires all of the previous qualifications and several years of experience in your specific field. With leveled technician roles, you can start as a tech 1 and work your way up to this level.
Supervisor, Manager & Director Beyond the tech roles, we have supervisor, manager, and director positions. Our positions lend themselves to a fulfilling career path, so any Sysco maintenance team member can start in any of our positions and grow from there.
