Collaborative environment: Work closely with Partners and other attorneys while taking on substantive responsibility for sophisticated clients and matters.

Position: Labor & Employment Associate
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Level: Senior Associate
Experience: Approximately 4–6 years of relevant experience
Work arrangement: Four days per week in the office

Responsibilities
Handle employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and class action cases.

Manage and contribute to wage and hour class action matters.

Work closely with Partners on litigation strategy, case management, and client matters.

Provide employment law advice and counseling to clients.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation activities.

Develop strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications
4–6 years of relevant Labor & Employment experience.

Strong employment litigation background.

Wage and hour class action experience is required.

Experience with class action matters, including plaintiff-side experience, is highly valued.

Experience providing employment law advice and client counseling.

Traditional labor law experience is a plus.

Admission to the California State Bar is required.

Strong academic credentials; candidates from a Top 100 law school are preferred.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Partners and other attorneys.

Compensation
Base salary: $260,000–$340,000.

Expected total compensation: $410,000–$475,000 for associates who meet applicable performance standards, including a minimum of 1,900 billable hours.

Discretionary bonus opportunity may increase based on hours billed and collected above 1,900.

Additional bonus opportunity for work originated by the associate.
