    About the Role

    Kids Kindness is seeking a warm, energetic Instructor to lead a short, skills-based program that helps children (ages 5–12) practice empathy, gratitude, respectful communication, and community-minded action. You’ll guide a weekly 60-minute class with hands-on activities, role-play, and simple service-themed projects—creating a supportive, inclusive space for kids to grow.

    What You’ll Do

    • Facilitate engaging weekly lessons that build social–emotional skills (empathy, kindness, conflict resolution, inclusion).

    • Lead age-appropriate activities: team games, reflection circles, gratitude journals, kindness challenges, and craft-based micro-service projects.

    • Set clear expectations and manage behavior positively; differentiate activities by age group (5–8 vs. 9–12 when needed).

    • Communicate with families at drop-off/pick-up; share brief progress highlights and class themes.

    • Prepare materials, set up/tear down, and keep the space tidy and safe.

    • Track attendance and simple weekly notes; submit brief recap to the site lead.

    • Uphold all safety, emergency, and facility policies.

    You Have

    • Experience working with children ages 5–12 (teaching, coaching, mentoring, camp, after-school, or youth programs).

    • Friendly, patient presence and strong classroom management.

    • Clear, positive communication with kids and parents.

    • Reliability and professionalism; punctual and organized.

    Preferred (Nice to Have)

    • Bilingual skills are a plus.

    Requirements

    • Must pass background check in accordance with policy.

    • Able to stand/move for the duration of class.

    • Availability for all scheduled dates: Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 4, 2025(no class Nov 27).
