Key Supplier Manager

Our client, a growing aerospace and supply chain solutions organization, is seeking a Direct Hire Key Supplier Manager to join their team. As a Key Supplier Manager, you will be part of the Supply Chain organization supporting strategic suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional business units. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Key Supplier Manager (Direct Hire)
Location: Remote Flexible U.S. 
Compensation: Up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience

What’s the Job?

• Partner with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall supplier performance.
• Conduct supplier capacity and capability assessments while collaborating closely with Quality teams.
• Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective action plans.
• Analyze KPIs related to quality, delivery, and supplier performance while providing reporting and recommendations to leadership.
• Travel extensively to supplier locations to strengthen relationships, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain, aerospace, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality standards and supplier quality processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability and willingness to travel up to 50-60%.
