THE TEAM

Our Kitchen team is at the heart of delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Working closely with the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, you will help lead a passionate culinary team committed to excellence, creativity, and consistency. This role plays an important part in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, food safety, and operational efficiency while supporting the development of line cooks and fostering a positive team environment.

YOUR ROLE

As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the daily leadership of kitchen operations, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will oversee food production, supervise line cooks, maintain quality control, and contribute to a productive and collaborative kitchen culture. Through strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail, you will help create memorable guest experiences while supporting operational goals, food cost management, and team development.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead and supervise line cooks to ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Support daily kitchen operations by assigning production and preparation tasks and ensuring priorities are executed efficiently.
• Monitor food production throughout service and provide hands-on support wherever needed.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.
• Control waste and support inventory management to help achieve food and labor cost objectives.
• Communicate effectively with service teams regarding menu changes, specials, and item availability.
• Train, coach, and develop culinary team members while supporting the onboarding of new associates.
• Promote a positive, collaborative working environment that enhances productivity, teamwork, and morale.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have proven culinary supervisory experience within a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• You can effectively lead, motivate, and develop kitchen associates while maintaining a cohesive team culture.
• You have strong organizational skills and can successfully prioritize and delegate responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• You possess a thorough understanding of food quality standards, kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• You are confident working under pressure while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
• You can communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, leaders, and guests.
• You are comfortable operating, maintaining, and monitoring kitchen equipment and culinary processes.
• You hold a culinary degree or bring equivalent professional culinary experience.
