Job Purpose
As a Job Coach, you will take an active role in preparing and supporting adults with disabilities in the workforce. You will work side-by-side with a participant(s) on at their job site, helping them build skills, perform job duties, and gain independence. This role requires strong leadership, consistency, and a commitment to results.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will work directly alongside participants at their job sites, providing real-time support and guidance.
You will deliver hands-on, one-on-one coaching to help participants complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
You will provide appropriate emotional support, helping participants navigate challenges and stay engaged throughout their workday.
You will use positive redirection techniques to guide participants back to tasks and reinforce expectations when needed.
You will build and reinforce strong work habits, accountability, and professional behavior in the workplace.
You will communicate clearly and consistently with employers, supervisors, and the Dutton Farm team to ensure success.
You will identify challenges quickly and take initiative to implement practical, solution-focused strategies.
You will maintain accurate, timely documentation in alignment with Dutton Farm standards.
You will uphold safety expectations and address any concerns right away.
You will track progress toward employment goals and celebrate measurable achievements along the way.
Qualifications
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
High school diploma required
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to pass a background check
