Java Backend Developer (JC)

Description

Job Summary

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Core Java and related technologies
• Optimize application performance by tuning the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and analyzing runtime behavior
• Develop and manage multi-threaded (concurrent) applications to ensure high performance and scalability
• Build and execute database interactions using JDBC, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL (including stored procedures)
• Perform data profiling and processing using backend Java applications integrated with databases
• Work extensively in Linux environments, using shell scripting and command-line tools for development and troubleshooting
• Develop solutions using Java, Python, and shell scripts across the application lifecycle
• Guide and support offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Follow Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, development, and continuous improvement
