Description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a GeoSpatial Developer Java for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement high-quality software solutions using Azure, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that enhance user experience.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Utilize Oracle SQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimizing database performance.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with the development team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard the company and user data.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development of the lifecycle by identifying and addressing areas for enhancement.
Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to support ongoing maintenance and future development.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Communication skills must be good to be able to communicate with Client Tech and Business Stakeholders
Coordination with the offshore developer teams and resolve technical issues promptly
